What is a DAX trading system?
A DAX trading system is an Expert Advisor specifically designed for the DAX (German Stock Index). The DAX includes the 30 largest and most profitable companies listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The index prices are calculated by the Xetra trading system. The DAX trading system independently generates signals for various trend phases and converts these trading signals into trading positions according to the trading strategy. A DAX trading system can run in a wide variety of time frames, from 5-minute to daily charts. The names for the DAX can vary from broker to broker. The most common names are EURREX.FDX, GER30, GER, and DAX. For trouble-free long-term operation of the DAX trading system, a continuous DAX contract is required. For a three-month DAX contract, the chart window containing the current DAX contract must be opened manually and the DAX system dragged into it.
